international sponsoring since a few of my international friends have been inquiring: as far as i know, International Animal Rescue accepts donations from any country's currency. when the donation form asks for USD, it's just so that they can get a rough estimate of how much is being donated. you can convert your currency here to determine how much your pledge is in USD, and then pay in your own currency. they accept credit card payments over the phone, and also cheque payments. they are based in the UK, and their pay-by-phone number is UK-based as well. probably the best use of your time for sending in donations in the end is to mail them a cheque, which shouldn't cost more than .50 in any country, i'd imagine. thank you to the wonderful sio for her sponsorship. look to the right there, there's a list of people who have sponsored me. :) i said on 6/26/02, 6:18 AM

i'm 17, i'm female, and i live in california. this is my summer blog as well as my blogathon 2002 blog. i like rock music and travelling and i have two adorable cats. i have the best friends ever. after blogathon, i'm headed for travel, and then college in january of 2003. i want to study photography and the arts and eventually go to UC Berkely.
