there seems to be an abudance of kidnappings in the last few weeks. i think i've heard of three separate cases in the last two weeks, all of which have ended in the girl found dead. it's so sad.

what can we [society, not us personally] do to prevent this? it's just not right that girls [boys for that matter, but i've only heard of girls recently] are being snatched from everywhere. they should be allowed to play without their parents fearing that they'll be taken and killed.

i remember when polly klass was taken. i was just about her age, maybe a little younger. it was big local news because she was taken less than 100 miles from where we live, and it was just awful.

i'm just so pissed off at all of this. it's not right.

yes, much better. i didn't shower, but i changed and pulled my hair back and walked around a little.

i chased daisy who was eating socks [my! socks!], read up on some other blogs. all in all a productive half hour.
